About This Program

Teams of 3+ neighbors on the same block unlock 50% matching grants for exterior home improvements. Targets Tipperary Hill, Far West Side, and Salt Springs neighborhoods. City anticipates ~$70,000 in grants per round. One of very few Block Challenge programs in the country, modeled on the Invest DSM approach.

Must have 3+ neighbors applying together in an eligible neighborhood

Key Details

• 50% match up to $2,500 per household
• Team of 3+ neighbors required, one collective application
• Eligible areas: Tipperary Hill, Far West Side, Salt Springs
• Reimbursement after work is completed with receipts and photos
• Covers façade, structural, and landscaping improvements
