About This Program

Ohio HWAP provides free energy efficiency improvements to income-eligible households statewide, delivered through a network of local community action agencies. Eligible improvements include insulation, air sealing, furnace tune-ups or replacement, and energy-efficient lighting. Program participants reduce gas consumption by an average of 25% for single-family homes, saving about $350 in first-year energy costs.
