How you opt in

  1. 1. Find your listing

    Open your business listing on The Grant Map and choose to claim it.

  2. 2. Tap “Text me a code”

    On your claim page you choose how to verify. If you pick text, you tap the “Text me a code” button directly beneath this consent notice:

  3. 3. Get one code, verify

    We send a single 6-digit code from (833) 906-7650 to your listing’s on-file business phone number. Enter it to prove you control the line. The code expires in 10 minutes.

“By tapping Text me a code, you agree to receive a one-time SMS verification code from The Grant Map (operated by StanHattie LLC) at the business phone number on file for this listing. Consent to receive a verification text is not a condition of claiming your listing, you may verify by email link instead.”

Program details

  • Message type: one-time listing-claim verification code (two-factor authentication). This is the only text we send.
  • Who receives it: only a contractor who requested a code on their own listing-claim page. Never homeowners.
  • Message frequency: one message per code you request. The code expires in 10 minutes.
  • Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
  • Opt out: reply STOP at any time to opt out (you will receive no further messages), HELP for help, or START to opt back in. Opting out is honored permanently.
  • Not a condition: consent to receive a verification text is not a condition of claiming your listing or of any purchase. Email verification is offered as an alternative.
  • Privacy: No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes; text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services.
