About This Program

PNM offers rebates to residential customers on ENERGY STAR certified appliances and energy-efficient equipment including evaporative coolers (up to $400), refrigerators, clothes washers, and smart thermostats. A free Home Energy Checkup unlocks exclusive rebates and includes approximately $157 in free energy-saving products installed during the visit. Income-qualified customers may receive free refrigerator replacement and smart thermostat installation.

Average household can claim $300–$600 in combined rebates; income-qualified customers can receive additional free product installations.
