About This Program

PNM's Income-Qualified Energy Efficiency Program provides free installation of energy-saving products to PNM customers at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. A free Home Energy Checkup includes installation of energy-saving products valued at approximately $157. Qualifying customers may also receive free refrigerator replacement and smart thermostat installation after completing the assessment.

Free products and installation; total value approximately $157–$600 depending on home conditions and qualifying equipment replaced.
