AHFC New Home Construction Energy Rebate

About This Program

AHFC's New Home Construction Rebate offers $10,000 to homebuyers or builders of new single-family homes, duplexes, triplexes, or fourplexes (owner-occupied unit) that achieve a 5-Star Plus or higher energy efficiency rating. The foundation must be completed and inspected on or after January 2, 2025, and construction must be completed within 18 months of application. Payment is made after construction completion and inspection.

Flat $10,000 rebate after construction completion. The home must achieve 5-Star Plus energy rating (HERS certification). Applies to homes where owner occupies at least one unit.
