About This Program

Provides up to $126,526 (FY 2026) to veterans and service members with certain service-connected disabilities to build or modify a home to meet their specific needs and live more independently. Usable up to 3 times with a combined lifetime limit. Eligibility requires specific qualifying service-connected disabilities such as loss of limbs or blindness.

Grant — no repayment required. Up to 3 uses within lifetime limit.
