About This Program

Zero-interest deferred loan to bring homes up to building code, with no monthly payments during the 15-year lien period. When repairs exceed $75,000 and full rehabilitation is not cost-effective, the program funds full demolition and reconstruction of a new home in its place. Lead-based paint hazard remediation is included in eligible scopes.

0% interest; no monthly payments; 15-year lien. Rehab capped at $75,000; reconstruction up to $350,000 or 125% of after-improvement appraised value.
