FirstEnergy Ohio electric companies offer rebates on ENERGY STAR appliances: heat pump water heater ($500), clothes washer ($50), electric dryer ($100), refrigerator ($100), freezer ($50), room AC ($50), air purifier ($50), dehumidifier ($25). Smart thermostat $100 ($150 low-income). Low-income customers (≤200% FPL) get additional $25 on each appliance.
