About This Program

Loans (1% interest, 20-year term) up to $40,000 for very-low-income homeowners to repair, improve, or modernize. Grants up to $10,000 (age 62+ only) to remove health/safety hazards. Combined loan+grant up to $50,000. Property must be in a USDA-eligible rural area. Most of suburban and rural Cuyahoga County may qualify; verify address on USDA eligibility map.
