About This Program

WAP provides free energy efficiency improvements to low-income households across all 50 states, DC, and territories. Eligible households receive insulation, air sealing, furnace repairs, water heater replacement, and other energy upgrades at no cost. Income must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty level; some states use 60% of state median income. Apply through your state or local community action agency.
