About This Program

Funded by a $2.3 million HUD Lead Hazard Reduction grant (plus $700,000 City match), this program removes lead-based paint hazards in Dallas homes built before 1978 that house children under age six. The home must be structurally sound with a clear title. Remediation is provided at no cost to qualifying low-income homeowners.
