About This Program

This HUD-funded grant covers 100% of costs for lead-risk assessment, abatement planning, and full lead remediation in pre-1978 Denver homes where a child under age 6 or a pregnant woman resides. The grant also addresses up to 29 additional healthy-homes hazards including mold, fire alarms, and pest control. Income must be at or below 80% AMI.

Grant covers full project cost; homeowner pays nothing. Typical remediation value is $8,000โ€“$20,000.
