HUD Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes / EPA

About This Program

The federal HUD Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes (OLHCHH) funds local jurisdictions to assess and remediate lead paint hazards in pre-1978 housing. The City of Las Vegas received a direct OLHCHH grant and operates its own lead remediation program (see City of Las Vegas Lead-Based Paint Hazard Remediation Program). Residents in unincorporated Clark County should contact Clark County or the Southern Nevada Health District for referrals to alternative lead programs.

City of Las Vegas residents access this through the city's lead paint program (702-229-7444); Clark County residents should contact SNHD or call 211 for alternative referrals
