About This Program

USDA Section 504 provides loans up to $40,000 at 1% fixed interest (20-year term) and grants up to $10,000 to very-low-income homeowners in rural areas to remove health and safety hazards. Grant funds are only available for homeowners age 62 or older. Las Vegas proper is ineligible, but nearby communities like Pahrump, parts of unincorporated Clark County, and other towns with fewer than 35,000 residents may qualify.
