Wisconsin's Weatherization Assistance Program provides free energy-efficiency improvements to income-eligible households through local WHEAP agencies. Eligible work includes insulation, air sealing, HVAC improvements, and health/safety measures. Income must be at or below 60% of Wisconsin State Median Income. One application covers both WAP and WHEAP energy assistance programs.
No-cost program; average benefit valued at $6,500–$10,000. Apply at energybenefit.wi.gov through local WHEAP agency.
