For rural homeowners. Grant (age 62+, very low income): up to $10,000 lifetime. Loan (any age, very low income): up to $20,000 at 1% over 20 years. Loans and grants combinable for up to $50,000. Note: Memphis proper may not qualify as ‘rural’, verify address at USDA Eligibility Site.
