About This Program

Loans and grants for very-low-income rural homeowners. Loans up to $40,000; grants up to $10,000 (age 62+ who cannot repay). Combined up to $50,000. Must be in a USDA-eligible rural area — most of Milwaukee proper does not qualify, but surrounding communities may. Wisconsin is a pilot state through December 2026.
