About This Program

The VA Specially Adapted Housing (SAH) grant provides up to $126,526 (FY 2026) to veterans and service members with qualifying severe service-connected disabilities significantly impacting mobility. Funds can be used to adapt an existing home or construct a new accessible home. The grant can be used up to three times, with a lifetime maximum.
