About This Program

Florida's WAP delivers free whole-house weatherization to low-income Orlando homes through local community action agencies. Services are determined by a comprehensive energy audit and include insulation, air sealing, weatherstripping, and HVAC improvements. Priority is given to households with elderly members (60+), disabled residents, or children under 12.

Services are provided at no cost; no cash benefit paid to homeowner. Average value approximately $6,500.
