About This Program

Provides zero-interest, forgivable deferred loans to low- and moderate-income homeowners citywide to repair critical home systems including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, roofing, and structural hazards. Funded by HUD Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership funds. Must own and have lived in the home at least one year; income must be at or below 80% Area Median Income ($89,750/year for a family of four as of mid-2025).

Forgivable deferred loan, no repayment if you remain in the home. Grants up to $15,000 recorded as a 5-year forgivable lien; amounts up to $25,000 recorded as a longer-term lien.
