About This Program

Federal grants enabling veterans with qualifying service-connected disabilities to build, buy, or modify a home to meet their adaptive needs. SAH (Specially Adapted Housing) provides up to $126,526 for permanent and total service-connected disabilities; SHA (Special Home Adaptation) provides up to $25,350 for less severe mobility-related disabilities. Apply using VA Form 26-4555.
