Rhode Island Energy (formerly National Grid RI)
Rhode Island Energy offers residential rebates for qualifying high-efficiency heating equipment and appliances, including a $600 rebate on electric heat pump water heaters, up to $1,000 for qualifying boilers, and $600 for qualifying furnaces. The utility also participates in the Clean Heat RI heat pump incentive program. Rate relief of approximately $20 million is in effect for all customers July 2025 through July 2026.
