About This Program

The VA Special Home Adaptation (SHA) grant provides up to $25,350 in FY 2026 to improve mobility throughout the home for veterans with qualifying service-connected disabilities. SHA typically addresses less extensive adaptations than SAH and can be used up to three times within the lifetime limit.
