CalHFA's ADU Grant Program provided up to $40,000 to low-and-moderate-income homeowners to cover pre-development and non-recurring closing costs for building an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU). Income limit for Sacramento County was approximately 120% AMI (~$120,000 for a family of four). The current funding round is fully allocated; check CalHFA for future rounds.
