About This Program

When SMUD customers electrify multiple gas appliances, they can earn an extra $2,000–$2,500 Go Electric bonus toward a panel or circuit upgrade. Up to $500 per eligible circuit (dryer, cooktop/range, EV charger, water heater) plus an overall panel upgrade rebate. The home must be transitioning to all-electric-ready status and use a participating contractor.
