About This Program

AACOG administers the federal Weatherization Assistance Program for Bexar County and surrounding areas, providing free energy conservation improvements to low-income households at no cost. Services include attic, wall, and floor insulation; HVAC replacement; water heater upgrades; and air sealing. Income eligibility is set at 200% of Federal Poverty Guidelines, with priority for elderly and disabled residents.
