San Diego Housing Commission (SDHC)
The SDHC ADU Finance Program offers construction-to-permanent loans up to $250,000 at a 1% fixed rate during construction, converting to a 4% fixed rate for a 15-year permanent loan to help City of San Diego homeowners build accessory dwelling units. Borrowers must agree to rent the ADU affordably for seven years to tenants earning up to 80% AMI. Income limit is 150% AMI ($236,600 for most households).
