About This Program

The SDHC Low-Income First-Time Homebuyer Program provides a deferred loan of up to 19% of the purchase price (maximum ~$125,000) at 3% simple interest with no payments required for 30 years, plus a $10,000 closing cost grant that is forgiven. Income must be below 80% AMI and the purchase price must not exceed $883,025. No current funding as of February 2026.
