About This Program

The VA Specially Adapted Housing (SAH) Grant provides up to $126,526 to help veterans with severe service-connected disabilities build, buy, or modify a permanently adapted home. Qualifying disabilities include loss or loss of use of multiple limbs, blindness in both eyes, severe burns, or specific lower extremity injuries incurred post-9/11. San Diego veterans should contact the VA Regional Office or the San Diego VA Medical Center for assistance.
