About This Program

Moderate-income Seattle households (81–150% AMI) converting from oil heat to an electric heat pump can stack a $4,000 bonus rebate on top of the standard $2,000 base rebate, for up to $6,000 total in local incentives. For a family of four, the income window is approximately $121,150–$235,650. Low-income households (below 80% AMI) may qualify for a free conversion through the Seattle Office of Housing Clean Heat component.

Combined base + bonus rebate is $6,000; low-income households should apply to the HomeWise program for a fully subsidized conversion.
