Seattle Office of Housing
The Seattle Office of Housing offers outright grants (no repayment required) for homeowners who need repairs under $3,000 or who are denied a repair loan. Grants cover up to $10,000 for critical health and safety repairs. Applicants must own and occupy their home within Seattle city limits and have household income below 80% AMI; extremely low-income households receive priority.
Grants cover smaller critical repairs; typical grant is for urgent single-system issues such as plumbing, electrical hazards, or heating failure.
This is just one of many grants, rebates, and free programs available. Stack them together to maximize your savings.
