FHA 203(k) rehabilitation mortgages allow homebuyers and existing homeowners to finance purchase and renovation costs in a single FHA-insured loan. The Limited 203(k) covers up to $75,000 in renovations; the Standard 203(k) handles larger structural projects with a $5,000 minimum. Requires a credit score of 580+ and a 3.5% down payment. No income limit applies. All work must be performed by licensed contractors.
