King County's Housing Repair Program offers 0% interest deferred-payment loans up to $34,000 for low-income homeowners outside Seattle city limits (excluding Bellevue, Federal Way, Kent, and Auburn) for major health and safety repairs. Covered repairs include roof replacement, new septic systems, plumbing and electrical upgrades, and structural issues. Repayment is due when the home is sold, title is transferred, or it is no longer the primary residence.
