About This Program

Sound Generations' Minor Home Repair Program provides free plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and safety-modification services to low-to-moderate-income adults — primarily seniors and people with disabilities — in Seattle, Shoreline, and parts of South King County. Over 90% of clients served are age 60+, and 84% report a disability. Services include leak repairs, grab bar and handrail installation, door and window repair, and smoke detector installation.

Free service; typical project value estimated at $500–$2,000 for minor repairs based on program scope.
