About This Program

Safe Housing Assistance Program for the Elderly. Free repairs up to $15,000 for homeowners age 62+ or permanently disabled in Onondaga County (outside City of Syracuse). Covers mechanical systems, roofs, foundations, porches, stairs, grab bars, insulation. 5-year forgiveness period — repayment only if sold within 5 years.
