American Red Cross Home Fire Campaign — Free Smoke Alarms

About This Program

The American Red Cross installs free smoke alarms and creates home fire escape plans through their nationwide Home Fire Campaign and Sound the Alarm events. Volunteers will visit your home, test existing alarms, and install up to 3 new smoke alarms at no cost. Priority given to high-risk households including those with elderly residents, young children, or people with disabilities. Request a home visit through your local Red Cross chapter.
