About This Program

FEMA HMGP provides grants to reduce future disaster losses through projects like home elevation, flood proofing, and wind retrofits. Homeowners cannot apply directly; local governments apply on their behalf. Following Hurricanes Helene and Milton, Hillsborough County has active HMGP funding.
