About This Program

The City of Tampa HRRP provides forgivable deferred loans for critical home repairs to low-income homeowners within Tampa city limits, funded through CDBG and Housing Program Funds. Applications submitted before January 7, 2026 continue to be processed. New applications are expected to reopen Summer 2026 when additional funding becomes available.

Forgivable deferred loan; repayment triggered only if home is sold or ceases to be primary residence within the compliance period.

Key Details

• Up to $100,000 for qualifying home repairs
• Must own and occupy home within Tampa city limits
• Income must be at or below 80% AMI
• Covers roofing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural repairs
• Currently closed; expected to reopen Summer 2026
