Fulton County Home Rehabilitation Program (HRP)

About This Program

Provides grants and deferred payment loans to eligible homeowners in Fulton County and the City of Atlanta to repair health and safety hazards and improve livability. Projects over $25,000 are structured as deferred payment loans. The program is administered with Meals on Wheels Atlanta (MOWA) serving as intake and inspection partner.

Grants cover projects under $25,000; larger projects become deferred loans repaid upon sale or transfer.

Key Details

• Must be a Fulton County or City of Atlanta homeowner-occupant
• Must meet HUD federal income limits and be current on property taxes
• Cannot have received HRP funds within the past 5 years
• Waiting list has historically been long — apply early in each cycle
