About This Program

Provides no-cost weatherization improvements to Austin Energy customers enrolled in the Customer Assistance Program (CAP) or the Medically Vulnerable Registry. Covered improvements include attic insulation, duct sealing and repair, air sealing, solar screens, carbon monoxide and smoke detectors, LED lighting, AC inspection and cleaning, smart thermostats, and reflective roof coating for mobile homes.

Free to qualifying customers; home must be ≤2,500 sq ft, 10+ years old, and not previously weatherized within the last 10 years. Home value ≤ $478,195.
