About This Program

Rebuilding Together Austin provides critical health and safety repairs using volunteer labor and contractor crews at no cost to qualifying low-income, disabled, and veteran homeowners in Travis, Hays, Williamson, and Bexar counties. Typical work includes roofing, electrical repairs, HVAC, plumbing upgrades, window and door repairs, exterior painting, grab bars, handrails, and wheelchair ramps.

Free repairs up to ~$10,000 in value. Renters with disabilities may qualify for safety modifications with landlord approval.
