My First Texas Home provides 30-year fixed-rate mortgages paired with down payment and closing cost assistance of up to 5% of the loan amount through a second lien — either a 30-year deferred repayable lien or a 3-year forgivable lien. Available to first-time homebuyers (and qualified veterans purchasing any home) who meet IRS tax-exempt bond income requirements. Credit score minimum 620.
DPA = up to 5% of first mortgage amount. Austin area income limits approximately $103,500 for a 4-person household (115% AMI). Purchase price limits apply.
