About This Program

Charleston County provides grants up to $15,000 for sudden critical system failures including septic systems, water lines, and furnaces. Funded through CDBG and HOME allocations ($1,761,701 CDBG + $734,391 HOME for PY 2025–2026). Residents within the City of Charleston city limits are not eligible and should contact the city's program instead.

Flat grant up to $15,000 for qualifying emergency system failures. No repayment required.
