About This Program

South Carolina is launching HOMES and HEAR rebate programs using $211M in IRA federal funding. HEAR provides point-of-sale rebates up to $14,000 for heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, electrical panels, insulation, and air sealing — with maximum rebates for households at or below 150% AMI. HOMES offers performance-based rebates for whole-home energy retrofits.
