About This Program

The VA's Specially Adapted Housing (SAH) grant provides up to $121,812 to veterans with qualifying service-connected disabilities to modify or build an accessible home. The Special Housing Adaptation (SHA) grant provides up to $24,405 for less severe disabilities. Both grants can be used up to three times and never need to be repaid.
