About This Program

The TDHCA Homeowner Reconstruction Assistance program uses HOME Investment Partnerships Program funds to help income-qualifying households rebuild or replace homes that are unsafe, damaged, or no longer livable. Eligible repairs address structural, roofing, electrical, plumbing, and accessibility issues. Households must be at or below 80% of Area Median Family Income (AMFI). Not available in all areas of Texas.

Reconstruction cost covered for qualifying households; administered through local TDHCA subrecipients.
