About This Program

Michigan's $210 million IRA-funded home energy rebate program, launched statewide April 2025. Two programs: HOMES (up to $20,000 for whole-home efficiency upgrades) and HEAR (up to $14,000 for heat pumps, electrification, insulation, air sealing, electrical panels). Households below 80% AMI get 100% cost coverage; 81-150% AMI get 50% coverage. Apply online at Michigan.gov/HomeEnergyRebates. Income below 80% AMI prioritized. Separate from expired federal tax credits.
