About This Program

The Emergency Repair Program resolves immediate threats to life and safety in owner-occupied homes whose residents earn at or below 80% of Duval County's Area Median Income. Eligible repairs include HVAC replacement, falling ceiling repair, water heater replacement, electrical components posing an imminent fire hazard, and structural elements showing signs of imminent collapse. Funded through CDBG and SHIP formula grants administered by the City.

Income must not exceed 80% AMI for Duval County; mobile homes and rental properties are ineligible
