About This Program

The Weatherization Assistance Program provides free energy-saving improvements to low-income households to permanently reduce utility bills. NFCAA administers WAP for Duval and surrounding counties, and services include insulation, air sealing, HVAC repair or replacement, and health and safety measures. Eligibility is based on household income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. Priority is given to elderly (60+), disabled residents, and families with children under 12.
